This session will also describe and demonstrate the use of relevant GIS standards from OGC and ISO TC211. Standards covered will include geospatial data management, data format and web services standards. The presentation will include ESRI's ArcGIS Server and client technologies to demonstrate the implementation and use of the various standards. Please send an email with your details to: info@nyon.esri.ch Presenters: Dr Satish Sankaran and Mr dan Zimble Dr. Sankaran is the Product Manager for Interoperability and Standards at ESRI. He is also actively involved in the OGC and ISO TC 211 standards bodies and currently serves as an elected member of the OGC Architecture Board. He is also the chair for the OGC WMS standards working group and is a member of the ISO 19142 and 19143 editing committee's. Dr. Sankaran has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mr. Dan Zimble is a member of the ESRI Washington D.C. Technology Center (DTC) where he provides technical presentations on a variety of ESRI technologies. His primary focus is on ArcGIS Image Server and Interoperability and Standards across ESRI products. # # # |
